Pool & Spa

The pool terrace is shared with the household, and it is quiet most of the day. Here is how everything works so you can simply walk out and swim.

Hours and the shared terrace

Swimming is welcome from 8:00am until 10:00pm. After ten we ask that voices and music come down, as neighboring homes sit close to the water.

The terrace, loungers and fire pit are shared with the family, so you may occasionally find someone else out there. There is room for everyone.

The spa

The raised spa spills into the pool and is heated on request. Message us the day before and we will have it warm for the evening you want it.

Please keep the spa cover closed when it is not in use — it holds the heat and keeps leaves out.

Pool towels

Pool towels are kept for guests separately from the bathroom linen. Use these outside and leave bath towels indoors.

Damp towels can be hung on the rail by the outdoor shower rather than brought back upstairs.

A few safety rules

The pool has no lifeguard and no shallow-end steps at the far side. Please swim with the same care you would at home.

  • Children must have an adult with them at the water, always.
  • No diving — the pool is not deep enough for it anywhere.
  • No glass on the terrace; there are outdoor tumblers in the apartment.
  • Feet first on the slide, one person at a time, and only into clear water.

If anything looks wrong with the water or equipment, tell us rather than adjusting it yourself.
